Utility Restructuring Specialist Larry Ruff Joins CEG North America

Dr Larry Ruff is an internationally recognized expert on the restructuring of electric and gas utilities to create competition and on the operations of the resulting competitive markets. He has advised governments and utilities in the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Indian subcontinent, the Asia-Pacific region, and Latin America on competitive restructuring. Larry writes and lectures extensively on these matters.

Prior to joining CEG, Dr. Ruff held senior positions at CRA International, National Economic Research Associates, and Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett. In 1998, the Public Utility Research Center presented Dr. Ruff with its Distinguished Service Award. Larry holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology.
